Dubliner hosted a night for a short while way back when. Weekly LGBT party nights have been tried at a number of places/promoters.
Used to go back to a straight bar every year for St. Also Uncle Joes on First in JC, became music venue. The old Fabians (now McSwiggins) was known informally as an 'everyone welcome bar' where LGBTs could hang.Ĩ0-90s Cafe Louis (now an Indian Place) would hold private parties on the first Monday of the month.ĩ0's Excalibur was on the west side for years, expanded three times! Then kinda died and became Union City hangout. Saw the inside of some gorgeous brownstones uptown! In the 80's there was a 'house party circuit' for a while where every few months someone the LGBT community would have a party.
